Really it's just more fun to talk about mustaches than argue over who's side of the story is accurate.

Almost a year after he had already accepted his commitment. Are you really defending Saban on this? A better approach would be to just accept that Nick is an a-hole, a ruthless recruiter, will lie to the media and will win a shitload of football games.

I accept that. You don't play at Alabama because it's easy. You play at Alabama because you'll win football games and be well prepared to play at the professional level

Saban is trying to sell this story to the parents and high school coaches in Metro Atlanta. Once Pete Carroll got the ball rolling at USC he too had to battle the media that recruited against him.

I am not saying AJC is anti-Bama, I am saying they are pro-story, caring less who they fry to get readership

Nick is not an A Hole. The other 3 are true.

That is fine and dandy. But no need for Saban to spin the truth and then blame the media for it. Even less of a need for Bama fans to try to defend it. Saban did what he thought was best for Bama football and didn't break any rules. Some think he looks like an a-hole for it and some don't. Still, for him to deflect it back on the media is laughable.

I will give you that it looks like it could have potential, but right now I'm thinking it's more of a Lt. Dangle than a Magnum, P.I.

Since they won't call him on it, I guess you are right. Spineless.

That was my point earlier. He has basically put a different version of what happened out there so it becomes a Saban said vs. The kid said issue. Saban wins.

Actually the last 4 years for Bama it has been 26+22+26+27=101 (25.25/yr)

Tennessee by comparison is 21+27+25+21=94 (23.5/yr)

So on signing day the last 4 years Saban has gotten an average of 1.75 more recruits per year than UT. Wow what a massive difference.

Oh and just for shits and giggles lets take a look at the biggest oversigner in the SEC: Auburn
21+24+32+28=105 (26.25/yr)

It's shocking to me that all of these cheated players don't complain. Nearly all of them move on with no hard feelings. Weird. Probably brainwashed by Master Saban. Operation Red Dog should dig deeper.

After the half truths the media has spewed about any of our programs, it is not only prudent but a pretty easy sell.

The AJC been haters all the way back to the Jan Kemp days.
