He really does want 9 games and a strong OOC.... he just wants everyone else to do it too. He's not going to put his team at a disadvantage by playing a tough schedule while no one else is doing the same.

Clemson was #9 and Michigan was in the top ten too when we played them. Don't know about the others

If AU would be more consistent the schedule wouldn't be so bad on paper.

UT is like the dental patient that is in pain but doesn't say anything and just takes the drill.

Uh- Florida plays FSU every single year, not just when they're down. USCe plays Clemson every single year.

Good thing you didn't use nearly ten more years of data. Saban came to UA in 2007. Wasn't McNabb done by 99?

OU, Nebraska, Va Tech, and Ohio State are future games.

You assholes need to wise up...

You act like schools are lining up to play Bama, but Bama declines.

Reality is it's a struggle to schedule OOC because no one wants to play us.

We have approached Texas/ND/USC. All said no. And I can't blame them. These schedules are set years in advance, and all that they see is Bama no. 1 ranked recruiting classes. They don't want the loss on their schedule.

Schools like West Virgina will do it because of the exposure, and in the event they catch four or five breaks(like auburn did this year against ATM/UGA/Bama) they come away with a huge win for the program.
Quit your bitching....
