Raiders - [X]
Tennessee - [X]
USC - [X]
Alabama - TBD *

* Saban turns 63 on Oct 31
** Lane Kiffin turned 39 on May 9

I am jealous of your ability to receive information and interpret it as something completely different and to your advantage.

Up until now, I thought only wives could do that.

Btw, when everyone was laughing their asses off when Saban hired Kiffin, I often wondered if they remembered USC's offenses when he was there. He may be a mealymouthed douche and a shitty head coach, but he's a hell of an O
that was obviously all sarkisian

If Saban coached 4 more years, thru 2018, and if Kiffin stays with him, I can see where he could be next in line.
He should be thru with rehab by then.

I actually meant during the program's heyday during the earlier 2000s. But yeah, the guys just has a good offensive mind.
You're right...just look at all the folks he has offended.

WTF? All I got form that article was that Kiffy has brought bama's offense into the 21st century.
quote:

I agree with this. I don't think Kiffin brings anything cutting edge to the table. He has merely brought the offense into the "21st century" but it's the talent on Bama's roster that makes the difference. With the playmakers that Bama has, there are potential mismatches all over the field against pretty much every opponent. Now instead of Bama having an OC who just wants to pound the defense into submission with the run, they have a guy who is intent on exploiting the mismatches created by the talent gap.

All of this AND whoever was brilliant enough to hook Sims up with Ken Masterole in the offseason was fricking genius.

Stop getting curious about random statements. Curiosity doesn't stop at killing cats.
You really think Kiffin doesn't have those numbers running through his mind and are you that naive to fathom that he came to Alabama without an agenda? You have gotta give him one thing...he somehow managed to become the head-coach of some really high profile teams!

Quit praying that Saban will come back and pull LSU
from the dark hole they are starting to topple into

For his own good, he should be thinking about retiring before he bursts a few arteries.

1) I'm 67 years old and have been curious all my life...ain't dead yet.
2) He didn't have to come to Alabama with an agenda...he came because he didn't have a job, had just gotten canned from his dream job, and nobody else of significance was interested in hiring him.
3) Finally, he knows what becomes of his life as a coach totally depends on how he conducts his business and personal life while at Alabama. If he's successful on the field (almost a given) and keeps his nose clean, things will open up for him in the future. That's all he needs to realize at this point.

Maybe you are a cat with nine lives then and can't tell the difference.

In his own words, he had other offers (including the NFL).

The third time is a charm BS?! When somebody makes similar mistakes one after the other, it's about time you realize that they are who they are! I wish you well and I hope you are around to see this unfold.
