not implying he's ready to retire, but man, he just sounds like he doesn't want to have to deal with the stupidity of these press conferences anymore.

can't blame him. they are exercises in futility. coaches seldom give real answers and the questions do get awful stupid.

i'll say this. he's getting more entertaining. "ask this coke bottle, cause I don't know." great stuff.

You're right. I think he and most other coaches just get to hate them. He should just quit doing press conferences. He can get away with it and I think the Alabama AD would back him.

Nope. One of Saban's many strengths is marketing, he's going to ride this media popularity for all it's worth.

Coca-Cola and Saban should team up for some commercial ideas. It makes sense. Coca-Cola headquarters are in Atlanta. Saban's teams have been to Atlanta 7 times. They definitely go well together.

I know, right? Where has his usually cheerful demeanor gone? It's why he's loved by reporters throughout the Southeast.

How do you infer that

based off of

He's been like that forever.

He's probably not leaving for a while and all these threads trying to read the tea leaves for reasons to convince yourself that he makes you look scared.

Coke execs are currently huddled with marketing. Will be huge.

Heart Broken ex-Girlfriend.

Please stop calling and hanging up.

If the LSU fan base wants to keep their minds they need to quit obsessing about a relationship that ended over a DECADE ago.

Honestly, no coach will openly admit that they love press conferences. Yes the questions are flat out stupid on many occasions. But you also know what you are getting into when you agree to become a coach at a big time school. Everything you say is magnified 1000x, things you don't say are interpreted, words are put in your mouth, and sometimes blatant lies are printed about you. At the very least, extreme exaggerations. But you get lots of money and fame so in America, that is the trade off.
