Enh the media and fans wouldn't be predicting he was about to leave at any moment if he didn't complain several times a year about everything under the sun.
I was one of those predicting he'd pack it in but now I realize that Nick Saban just isn't happy unless he's unhappy about something. So when he starts complaining about fairly trivial things it means everything is going just fine for the Tide and we can expect them to compete for a spot in the CFP.
When he starts coming out in press conferences talking about how things are going great and he couldn't be happier then he's getting ready to retire.

Ironic considering Miles will get the same question, but for far different reasons

Probably, but I don't get paid millions to coach

Saban will there until he retires IMO.
He is the beneficiary of a program where cheating and manipulating the system is considered a normal everyday acceptable occurrence.
Why would her ever leave that?
He could literally murder someone in cold blood in a public place and Gumps would claim self-defense.

Yep, he saved Bama from a UT type spiral
I agree. Bama could have easily gone that way.

Your excuses are quite melodious.

In 2009 I made three predictions to a Vol buddy...
1. Kiffin would never beat Alabama.
2. Kiffin would be gone within 2 years.
3. Saban would never lose to Tennessee.
I was right on the first two, and figured I was a shoe-in for #3...until I realized that Saban was gonna stay at Alabama for 20 years.

But could he fvck a member of the department, take her on joyrides and then show up to a press conference looking like he just fought Kembo Slice and get away with it?

Saban done it to himself. You can't blame anyone for not trusting him after the Miami stunt.

I didn't think he would stay past 5 years, but I also said several times early on I hope he stays because he makes us have to be better. We aren't consistently better, but we have had to do things better. I want that and have no problem with him staying.
With that said, I will use just about any rumor to troll bama fans

Lots of truth here. Honestly, if Saban isn't at Bama, I don't think Auburn gets to its two BCS championship games.

Fair or not, when you get up in front of the press and say "I'm not going to be coach at Alabama" and then just a few weeks later you are in fact the coach at Alabama, you're going to be looked at skeptically.

Wondering why Saban did not blame Sexton for half of these rumors? That is what Sexton, as his agent, does for a living, putting his client's name out there. And he's earned Saban millions of dollars doing so. Take note that with all the rumors floating around each yr, Sexton never says a word. Does anyone really think that Sexton has not at least talked to various sources around college & pro football about his client?

Every season this sort of conversation in a conference comes up. Every season the week before Alabama plays an OOC cupcake, Coach Saban goes on a rant when someone ask about playing the Alabama walkons. Every season someone asks a question to give him the chance to go on about building and sustaining a program and the need for everyone to buy into the process.

Damn, Saban making the nega-nellies his bitch by putting them in their place!
