“When people can just go wherever they want to go, whenever they want to go, they don’t necessarily have the commitment in what they choose to do in the future. That’s not how things work in life," - Saban commenting on his opinion of the transfer portal.

Does Saban know the definition of commitment? Apparently NOT!

Is this the same Saban who told LSU fans he wasn't going anywhere and that he planned to be at LSU for a long time only to jet off to Miami. Commitment?

Is this the same Saban who angrily told the entire world he wasn't going to be the next Alabama coach and to quit asking, only to accept the job a few days later? Commitment?

I just find it very interesting that Saban would criticize players for entering the transfer portal to find a better opportunity, which is exactly what he has done his entire career!

It will be 17 years this fall. It’s time to get over him.

Orgeron should be the last person to condemn aggravated assault.

Oh wait, he doesn't.

I just find it very sad you’re still so heavily butthurt over a grown man leaving LSU 15+ years ago.

He coached his last game at LSU just over 16 years ago. I'd say get over it but I don't think that's gonna happen if it hasn't already.

He finally found a place worth committing too and he's been there going on 15 seasons now.

It's the same Saban who is going into his fifteenth season at Alabama; something tRant ensured me would never, ever happen.

Commitment.

Totally different scenarios.
Any comment regarding even the possibility of a head coaches move would destroy the momentum of the entire organization...huge difference.

LOL.....

The Eagles

I turn on the tube
What do I see?
A whole lot of people cryin'
"Don't blame me!"

They point their crooked little fingers
At everybody else
Spend all their time
Feelin' sorry for themselves

A victim of this
A victim of that
Your mama's too thin
And your daddy's too fat

Get over it!
Get over it!

All this whinin'
And cryin'
And pitchin' a fit

Get over it!
Get over it!

He's been at Alabama for 15 years. If he stays 4 more years he will have been at Alabama longer than any coach has ever been at LSU. His commitment to us seems to be working out just fine.

Sorry for your loss.

Then he found a place that convinced him he was in the greenest pasture and didn't need to find something better.

And he's been there since the George W. Bush administration.

And yet, here he sits 15 years later at the job that made him want to stay.
