What were Saban's exact words, if one of you doesn't mind sharing with me? Understandably, I didn't watch the after-party. I went to the store and got more alcohol and am currently waiting for my wife to go to sleep so I can steal some of her pain medication. All I ask is what Saban's exact words were. Please, if you have the time.

I cannot remember his exact words but when interviewed on the field after the game he implied that Bama did not a play good game and GA was lucky to be in the game because of it

He did downgrade UGA at all, he said bama did not play it's best game and we didn't. That god we won or the medis would have tore him apart in the state of alabama.... We got lucky and sometimes it is better to be lucky than good...

I'm talking about the press conference (which was live here in Bham on the local CBS station.)
He said: "I think it's a crying shame if Georgia doesn't get to go to a BCS bowl game," Saban said. "They played a tremendous game out there today, and they could have won at the end just the same as us. It came right down to the last play."
