Its like people just refuse to listen when that story is told truthfully.
Les Miles said he would allow Jeremy Hill back on the team as he had satisfied his requirements to rejoin.
However, he added another step that made it harder for Jeremy Hill to rejoin the team, which was saying that he ALSO had to have the team allow him back on because he had let them down with his off-season shenanigans.
Its like I'm taking crazy pills.
So you're saying the team vote was a sham? Nothing more than a publicity stunt?

That's kind of sad that a coach wouldn't let a kid play when the team is up by a large margin.

You would prefer a team vote?

You folks have told us for years that the players loved Les.
Do you honestly believe that the team vote would've been 'frick you, Jeremy' after Les had told him that he had Les' blessing to come back?
Quit being obtuse.

Unsure what the big deal is.
It's all about what you bring to the team and a walk-on ain't bringing enough to warrant the trouble.
If you have a problem with special privileges based on ability, then you should have a problem with the entire walk-on vs scholarship player to start with, or even scholarships in general.
It's life folks, get use to it.

We have a former walk-on starting at CB.

The great John Wooden treated players fairly, not equally. Lew Alcindor and Bill Walton could do some things others players couldn't, because Coach Wooden recognized the reality of the world and wasn't a little baby back bitch.

People often rush to judgement about various coaches' disciplinary actions in various situations -- without much, if any, knowledge about the details of a given situation or other considerations, such as the player's attitude or conduct history. For all we know, this incident could've been the straw that broke the camel's back.

I agree but you have to admit what this looks like considering Saban's reputation with player discipline.

I have to admit that it looks like a disciplinary decision people are judging without adequate information to make a judgement. As I said, that's typically the case.

Well the rumor is that the kid that got kicked off met with Saban. Saban asked him if he was raised with AC in the home and the player said yes. So Saban had no choice.

Saban sounds like a libertarian. The player committed violence while the other two didn't.
