Saban is obviously the most intelligent coach in the SEC

That is really what is boils down to. He is smarter than everyone he faces. He is capable of learning from his mistakes. He is capable of running his organization very well. No other reason a 5'5 man can get a 6'5 man to fear him.
I mean we know the Les, Bert, and Freeze are all idiots. Sumlin and Gus are proving themselves to be the same with the lack of overall organization and roster management.
So we have Saban and the rest.

Great recruiter and motivator for sure, but i would wager that there are several coaches that could win in the same fashion given the talent and support system that Alabama has.

He's recruited the best classes in the country for at least the last 5 years. That's your biggest reason.

There are other programs around the country with the same or similar support and talent and they are not doing what he is doing; not even close and before you say Meyer, compare the teams his OSU teams have beaten to the teams Bama has beaten. There's a stark difference overall.

I sort of agree. The jury is still out on coach Mac.
