I feel like Saban has a legit argument in the sense that if college football turned into a huge aau dirty arse basketball recruiting style game it would suck to follow during the off-season. That being said, that dude give zero shite about any of his players or anyone else's so it's hard to take him serious. This is like picking between trump and Hillary

You know what actually is dumb? To be such a blind Homer that you can't see an ounce of dishonesty or self interest in the comments from a man that's making suggestions on why recruiting should stay the same when he has finished fricking 1st in recruiting the last 5 years in a row! You have zero belief in your tiny little mind that maybe.... just maybe he likes the way things are currently going and his real interest are 100% about the kids playing the game they love the way it's meant to be played. This is comical...like he didn't sit down with the REC in Mobile right after he got the Bama job and basically told them to do what it takes to get players to Bama.
Saban "cares about college football" and players so long as it benefits him and his program. He's got the press eating his shite sandwiches three meals a day, and they lap it up like the puppies they are.
