He knew it was Tuesday. There was no way to avoid it. He's just saying hat to avoid talking about it at all.

Saban can't win for losing with people... No matter what he says it will be scrutinized and picked apart to no end. Anyway why should he comment on something that isn't football related. ESPECIALLY on a hot button item such as politics?!?!?
