We're nobody's before LSU. Fact I say so both have benefited big time from being in BR. I am smart enough to realize that

I'm not saying it will be peachy, but LSU has a lot of resources to make a new coach work.

It's not about just losing games, we are poorly coached on a few fronts right now.

I don't mind losing games. I mind looking like a 3rd world team while losing.

I think even the dumbest of people realize that LSU has the tools for success.

It will interesting to see who the next guy is.

eta. I don't think this move should strike fear in Alabama, or means LSU will be catapulted ahead of Alabama in the future. Alabama should be extremely comfortable in their own skin. They are going on an unprecedented run in modern college football, constructed by the GOAT to do it.

However, if the hire ends up being who we want there's no doubt LSU fans deserve to be very excited going forward. Objectively, the person is prospectively better for LSU's chances to compete for championships than Les will be going forward. It'd be an unprecedented type hire in itself because national championship coaches don't move from top tier power 5 jobs without some intermediary. Hopefully, for us, it plays out. I'll be sweating it til Monday

That's why I feel that a decent coach can become great at LSU

I agree completely.

As long as Saban's there, I'm not worried about Bama but I'm not too blind to think Jimbo won't make life any easier in the SEC West.
