Saban and his quest for the all time most championships

year after year we hear "reports, insiders etc etc" say Saban is leaving bama for one reason or another but we know that's not happening for one reason. Saban's biggest thing he never wants to admit is his legacy. His biggest personal goal is to be known as the coach with the most national titles under his belt, making him the hands down GOAT coaches in the history of college football. His situation at Bama gives him the greatest chance of that proven again by another Natty yesterday

Congrats Bama fans on the win.

Saban's greatest feat was making LSU so set up as program that it would be successful even when driven like a clown car by Miles years later

I think he retires at Alabama. Could be this year, could be 8 years from now, but I honestly believe that's what happens. He's been here 9 years now. He's pretty entrenched.

That said, next year could be rough. We've got talent filling in (see Hand and Evans), but we're going to lose a ton. I don't expect Henry, Robinson, Allen, or Foster to come back. Eddie Jackson and Howard (after last night especially) could also be gone.
