Tom Arnold (of all people) said on Finebaum's show that Saban was close to taking the Giants job at $10 mil this past off-season. Is there any validity to this? If so, Nick gonna be gone soon!

BREAKING: I have multiple sources that can neither confirm nor deny Saban is going to Texas.

He's too old to start from scratch anywhere else.

Jeez, y'all just can't accept that he's not at LSU anymore

Tom Arnold has had sex with Roseanne Barr. This is proof of a mental defect.

Draft. Meaning Saban is automatically out.

Did you rub your hands together greedily while grinning a wicked grin after typing this?

Saban ain't leaving for NFL. Mainly because why the frick would he? Would you leave Switzerland while banging super models to go to Brazil because Giselle may give you a look?? He's not gonna risk tarnishing his persona on that gamble. And I 100% don't blame him.
Second, I think he only has 5-6 good years left. If he wins two more Nattys to beat the Bear then he hangs it up and rides Ms Terry into the sunset.
ETA: 'good years' meaning where he is still committed to coaching in the same manner he does now.

Why would he want to go anywhere else? Seriously, what better place to spend the rest of your career than Tuscaloosa, AL! And, the great city of Birmingham is right down the road. Who needs anything else??

Its funny when people try to be clever but can't construct an attractive sentence. But hey.. nice try.

If this was a joke, I laughed.

I know the giants came hard after him. I mean a full court press. He was THE target. He never "almost" took the job. It was offered and he spent very little time on it.
Like usual, Saban said thanks but no thanks. Things like this show you who the premiere college programs are. Saban has no ties to Bama but has literally turned down dozens of offers including premier NFL gigs.
Disagree with the op, If Saban didn't take the giants job then he isn't going anywhere. The giants is one one of the top two or three jobs in the nfl.

Saban is not a good enough coach to succeed in the NFL.
Fact.
Fact.
