Doesn't necessarily have to have hook ups but thinking more about Gameday tailgate etc. Anywhere other than the Fairgrounds 3 miles away?

I don't think Vanderbilt has any RV parking by the stadium.

I really dislike RV's. Maybe that's just me.

I don't think rv's are trashy. They are expensive and I would much rather just put that money towards airfare / hotels.

I've lived in Nashville for 10 years and I'm a Vandy season ticket holder. There is no area around the stadium that is really set up for RV parking. There is a great parking lot near Titans LP Field that is perfect for RV's. It's called Main Event Parking LINK. Here are pictures on their website of the Music City Bowl game with RV's on their parking lot. LINK It's secure with a fence around the parking lot and close to downtown Nashville. I'm sure the owner would be open to hosting any fan base with a large RV following. He's a great guy and very accommodating. It's also a small family owned business.

Centennial doesn't have a spot?

The problem with that is you are a few miles away from Vanderbilt. What's the point in bringing the RV if it's just your group in an empty parking lot in downtown Nashville?

Vandy doesn't really get into things like this. Just park somewhere. The don't care.

I don't know if Centennial park offers RV parking, it's under major redevelopment right now and I'm not sure what the plans are for offering RV parking for Vandy games when complete. For the LSU game a few years back there were a lot of LSU fans complaining about lack of RV parking near the stadium. There's an elementary school near the stadium that a few RV's parked at but the neighborhood complained about the RV's parking there. That's all I can remember. Not many schools travel to Vandy with a lot of RV's. You can also contact the Vandy Athletic Department to see what they recommend.

I realize the Main Event Parking lot is not near Vandy, it's just an option of where a large group of RV's from a school can park in one place and it be secure. Good luck on your search! Hope you enjoy Nashville!

It appears there is no RV parking on campus. Nashville fairgrounds looks like your best bet. I'm sure they'll have some type of shuttle to the game.
