**Also note that Gurly and Chubb each had a season cut short due to injury when they for sure would have made the 100 yards/game threshold.
Mark Ingram is the most overrated Heisman runningback in the trophy's history.
While Alabama has had a good string of runningback for the past 7 years, its quite a stretch to call it "Runningback U"
Not with other programs like Georgia, Auburn, and LSU having such great RB pedigrees.
Then maybe, just maybe, some of these teams could use some of THEIR awesome skill players to help win a championship or two, no?

Would be interesting to see them compared to some of the other top RB programs now. Seems like UGA would atleast be comparable.

The guys behind Henry aren't as good right now. Otherwise, Henry would've had 100 less carries and no Heisman.
You sir are a rare breed
Not really. There's done pretty rational bammers on the rant. Though also enough gumps to overshadow them.

Yes Henry getting 40 carries is because his back up has a broken arm and 2 freshmen with possible ball security issues. Scarborough has almost been stripped a couple of times. I do expect him to eventually be great but he'll take a couple of years to get there.

Except one is just a freshman, and another is coming off an ACL injury in spring. It's remarkable he's even gotten carries tbh
It was definitely not a knock against Harris or Bo. But the op said just as good, and this is one if those years where there was considerable difference between #1 & #2. Luckily, Henry is a fricking monster, so it's worked out so far.
Harris seems to have potential. But as you said, he's a true freshman, and I felt all year that he ran timidly. I'm not worried, he's just young.
Bo looked very good in his very limited touches. It's finely crazy he's back so fast, and next season you'll be seeing a lot of him.
I'm not worried for next season, and agree that we have a claim towards RBU or damn near any positionU. But the year has been our weakest RB depth under Saban, partially due to Drake's injuries.

Can you just go ahead and call them the U of A?
Saban built a freaking near dynasty there. DEAL WITH IT

100 less? What would he do sit out an entire half?

Sounds like you need some Boudreaux's

Alabama has a better claim to RBU than Oklahoma? Billie sims Marcus Dupree Adrian Peterson Demarco Murray joe Washington the list goes on.

There are other more impressive dynasties. Oklahoma winning 47 straight will never be done again.

isnt the usual bama tag line with RB's, they are better?
Has history not proven out we replace with one that's just as good.? Better, maybe not but we see very little dropoff if any every single time we have a new RB.
