So I just saw a picture of Trooper Taylor and David Oku at the Auburn basketball game and Oku was holding a sign that said "RBU Needs OKU" How awesome is that.

In other recruiting news, how about Demond Washington

5 stars on Scout, 3 on Rivals. Great pickup though.

ETA: We are in the Top 15 in recruiting on Scout. Suck it PharmisistReb or whatever the hell his name was.

I did not realize Eddie Gran was on Pat Dye's staff back in the 1980's

RBU came from:

Joe Cribs
James Brooks
Bo Jackson
Lionel James
Tommie Aggee
Brent Fullwood
James Joseph
Stacy Danley
Steven Davis
Rudi Johnson
Carnell Williams
Ronnie Brown

And I am leaving out guys that led the SEC or were in second in the SEC like Bostic and Irons. All the above went on to the NFL and several were pretty accomplished there with multiple pro bowls and super bowl rings. I do not know that any team in the SEC can match AU in running backs over the last 3-4 decades. Not sure if anyone in the country can, but that would be hard to say.

you all def. have had great RBs, Gran may not be the one behind all of em' but every Auburn fan I've talked to loved him.

He is a solid coach. I am not sure about his recruiting though. Sure he brought in Ronnie and Carnell, but they were not going to Bama anyway and AU has always attracted top backs.

It's USC, Auburn and then everyone else when it comes to running backs

The only reason you got bo is because bear told him he wouldn't see the field till his junior year. And I've never heard anyone other than you wingnuts refer to au as rbu. Before saban retires, the whole country will refer to ua as rbu, lbu, dbu, wru, dlu, & qbu! Book it & bank it.
