Charlie Strong wasn't their 2nd or 3rd choice either.

You are certainly giving it the old college try there. Nice effort.

Unless Hernandez time traveled, he was a member of the NE Patriots.

Nice try though. Jackass.

I have nothing against wanting the best, trying to get the best or actually getting the best. more power to you.

I guess you ignore the arrogance many of your fellow texicans exhibit. guess what, your shite stinks.

Augie Garrido was 38-20 against the aggies.

For aggy math majors, that's winning 2 of every 3 games played.

Hence, aggy butthurt.

Is this a typical UT/A&M cut down fight? 'cause it's kinda weird.

I honestly had no idea what the average dick size at A&M was before the Longhorn told us. I'll be eternally grateful.

I'll be especially grateful if they get another baseball coach worthy of a Norm Macdonald skit.

No dude. This is some horn fan on the SECr trying to sound cool. I have no opinion either way, but Florida is a top tier baseball program so I would think they can attract any coach they want.

My observation is that we've seen these type of PR weather balloons before. It's like with the Nick Saban rumors. Every move Texas makes has to be floated out in the media first (probably to gauge reaction).

A couple of the local yokels on Austin Sports radio don't think Kevin O'Sullivan is a good coach for them since they thought his teams play "soft" and his teams haven't won anything "big".

They also didn't think Tim Corbin from Vandy was very good since the only reason Vandy was doing well was because they "use an ncaa loophole" to skirt scholarship limits.

That's the mentality of uTexas folks in a nutshell.

It certainly made my drive home in the rain more amusing though.

Damn, it's good to have an MSU representative in Austin so everybody doesn't think it's just Aggie little brothers who see this!

You nailed it. Anybody anywhere would move heaven and Earth to coach there. Because they're Texas. I really hope that attitude never goes away.

their arrogance (and ignorance) knows no bounds. corbin is a top 5 coach in the country and at least some of them know they cant get him, thus the disrespect. as for the rest of them....
