The recent rumor is Bosa, Jalin Marshall, Corey Smith and Dontre Wilson. Complete rumor at this point and no one has confirmed anything

I never get tired of this being brought up.

For how long? They had to have assaulted the elderly and their puppies in front of young children while uttering racial &/or homophobic slurs all on camera in order for Meyer to suspend someone.

If it is for more than one game then it would have to be NCAA related b/c we know Urb isn't going to drop any hammer...(not that aOSU will need them against Va Tech)

CHICAGO -- All-American defensive end Joey Bosa, hybrid back Jalin Marshall and perhaps a couple other Ohio State players are expected to miss the defending national champion’s season opener at Virginia Tech on Sept.7 due to an unspecified violation of athletic department policy, multiple sources confirmed for The Dispatch on Thursday.

Ohio State announced via a news release on Thursday that four Buckeyes, including star defensive end Joey Bosa, will miss the 2015 season opener against Virginia Tech for violating Department of Athletics policy.

In addition to Bosa, sophomore H-back Jalin Marshall, senior receiver Corey Smith and junior H-back Dontre Wilson will also have to miss the game against the Hokies.

quote:

Bosa was the Big Ten defensive player of the year last season and a consensus All-America pick who many believe could be the No. 1 overall selection in the 2016 NFL draft should he decide to leave Ohio State after his junior season.

He led the Buckeyes in tackles for loss (21) and sacks (13.5) last season and is expected to be one of the national leaders in those categories this season.

Marshall was second on the team in receptions last season with 38 and was third in receiving yards (499). He had six touchdown catches and also ran the ball 25 times for 145 yards and another touchdown.

Wilson had 31 catches for 300 yards and thee touchdowns in the Buckeyes' championship season, and added 100 yards rushing on 18 carries. Smith caught 20 passes for 255 yards and had 3 yards rushing on one attempt in 2014.

rumor joey-bosa-jalin-marshall-others-suspended-for-va-tech-game. Also involved wrs Corey smith and don'tre Wilson ?

Crazy part is, even though they'll lose a lot of firepower, they still have Barrett, Miller, and Elliott to run straight through Tech.

VT's offense is pretty crappy as well so I don't think losing Bosa will be too bad with that LB corps.

Probably failed drug test. Meyer wouldn't have the authority to determine their punishment strictly on his own.

Must be only for sexual assault and dealing meth. If they had murdered someone they would have been suspended for the Hawaii and NIU games as well.

Honestly, if a sharknado rose up and destroyed Columbus tomorrow, devouring that Athletic Department in the process, I would offer condolences only for the sake of being polite.

frick Ohio State.
