Everything in the military requires composite risk management - even taking an unaccompanied shite.

It may not be at the corporate level, per se, but having experience with that cut down about 30% from my study time in both Security+ and CASP.

It's not like underwriting or settlement payouts or anything like that, but determining residual risk once proper controls have been implemented is a crucial step, especially when you have to recommend to a commander what risk he should reasonably accept.

my job is actually more like that than the other. We use analytical methods/mechanisms/data to help CFOs and risk managers make educated decisions on managing, transferring or accepting risk.

I'm the guy yelling at underwriters for lower costs and better terms and conditions based on what we've implemented for our client/prospect.

Went awesome actually. Made some really good hires and had a stellar recruiting class.

The knock on LSU is that they have had a ton of NFL talent the past several years, and that hasn't produced dominant results against the SECW.

Or is A&M your measuring stick?

What are you talking about? Did you not see what post I was responding to?

Difference being LSU fans don't pretend to be satisfied with the results the past couple of seasons and A&M fans continue to talk shot like they've won something despite the results on the field.

Not satisfied.

Having super bowl MVP and being awesome in other sports this year has helped though.

Well I skipped the yelling at underwriters post, and focused on whether LSU recruiting was an indicator of success...

Your reading comprehension is lacking. I responded to a Bama fan who asked about how the recent attempt at firing Miles went. It had literally nothing to do with aggy. But to answer your random question, LSUs thorn in their side for the last few years has been Bama. Sure losing to OM and Arkansas was unacceptable, but it usually begins and ends with Bama. It was just 2011 that LSU went undefeated and went to the NC.

I firmly believe they will win the SEC this year. Bookmark me bro.

Discussion on the decline of aTm football?

I though you had to be "up" or in the black to have some sort of decline.

Just saying...

Ok. My only point was that it's premature to declare LSU's recent hires a success.

To stay on topic and correlate it to A&M's recent losses....Sometimes expert recruiters can't coach their team to wins on the field. Jake Spavital as A&M OC is a good example

Are you now just making things up? I've not referred to anything as a success. I said "good hires". Would you consider a hire with the current resume' a good hire if TAMU were to make it?

In 2012, Aranda was the Defensive Coordinator for one year for or the Utah State Aggies under Gary Andersen. That same year Aranda was a nominee for the Broyles Award as the Aggies defense finished in the top 15 of all FBS schools in all four major defensive categories; seventh in scoring defense (15.4 points per game), 13th in rushing defense (113.8 yards per game), eighth in pass-efficiency defense (14 interceptions, 12 touchdowns, 54.1% completion rate, 5.7 yards per attempt) and 14th in total defense (322.1 ypg).[

His first year as Defensive Coordinator the Badgers defense ranked in the top 20 in all four major defensive categories; scoring defense (6th), total defense (7th), rushing defense (5th) and passing defense (17th).[5]

Two of Aranda's three years at Wisconsin one of his linebackers won the Big Ten Linebacker of the Year, Chris Borland in 2013 and Joe Schobert in 2015. Borland also won Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year in 2013. Aranda alongside his OLB coach Tim Tibesar were named Linebacker Coaches of the Year for 2015 by FootballScoop.[11] Over Aranda's three year span as defensive coordinator at Wisconsin his defense ranked first nationally in total defense, second in scoring defense, third in pass defense and fourth in run defense.[12] His final season with the Badgers his defense came in first in scoring defense, allowing just 13.1 points per game.[13
