What really stuck out to me is how few 5*s Michigan has. I’d have put 10 bucks on them having more than 2 on the whole roster, I’m pretty sure South Carolina has 2 or maybe even 3 right now.

I didn't know Bama had anything less than a 4-star on their team.

We like our 3 star camp warriors from in-state.

Have you seen their center? His 3rd star must have come from the Bama bump.

Muh, Nick Saban has done a great job, lol.

College football is a terrible product.

And that right there is the difference between the SEC and the other conferences

The star system is the most overrated bullshite in college football.

I would take a team full of mean nasty workaholic 3/4 stars with chips on their shoulders over 50 entitled lazy 5 stars any day and twice on Sunday

I think it’s something like 40-50% of 5 star players make it to the nfl too

I know all the Bama folks will go nuclear on this, but I keep hearing this was Saban’s best coaching year ever and he should be a lock for coach of the year. He’s got 18 frikin’ 5 stars on the roster. That’s a lot of talent to employ!

Now the reason he has 18 5 stars on the roster is he is a great coach. So let’s give him coach of the CENTURY.

But straight up in the SEC which is more impressive in a SINGLE (I.e. coach of the YEAR) year:

11-1 with 18 5 stars (sorry 12-1 with SECCG)
or
10-2 with 1 (maybe 2 if you count portal) 5 stars

Your thoughts honestly and objectively.

Bama’s center is a good player, but not a good center.

With the exception of Texas (loss) I don’t see a big difference in OOC opponents.

We’re not talking about who the better TEAM is we’re talking about who did a great job with the resources at his disposal.
