Do Yankees fans pull for the Red Sox in the World Series? Do Redskins fans pull for the Cowboys in the Super Bowl? Would a Duke fan pull for North Carolina to win the National Championship in basketball? Conference pride only goes so far 'Bama fans. Auburn-Alabama is a RIVALRY. Part of being in a rivalry is you don't want your rival to succeed at anything. HOOK EM' HORNS!

I understand where you are coming from. however, let me explain this to you:

i'm sure that you have already heard the media saying that the sec is back to normal, just average again, etc etc.....

so, hypothetically, next year if auburn finishes 11-1 and west virginia finishes 11-1, and usc finishes 11-1, who do you think will get the nod if the human portion of the BCS committee has to decide. i'll tell you- if the sec continues it's dominance, then it will be auburn.

now, if bama gets slaughted tonight by texas, then the perception of the "dominant sec conference" will fade and in the scenario above, auburn wouldn't stand a prayer in hell.

so, i say, go SEC!!!!!!!!!

I don't see why everyone feels the need to tell us who you're rooting for. I don't give a shite about Auburn, or their fans tonight. Same goes for the rest.

Honestly, I don't see why it matters who wins tonight as far as the rest of the league is concerned.....

It's not like alabama is going to start recruiting better than they have been if they win, and it's not like if they lose we are all doomed to never make a BCS bowl game again.....

Really, it doesn't matter for fans of other programs. This is between Texas and alabamastan....

Pretty much true. And if Bama loses, I do not know that that matters much. If Bama goes another year or two withhout a NC, they will make one up to make themselves feel better and sell all that got 13th trash they already printed.

I heard we've been in contact with Tubby to find out where to get People's Champions rings.

You guys won't need it. You guys will just make regular championship rings from some random year decades ago, pretend it's real, and start selling Got 13th stuff.

I had an Auburn buddy of mine tell me last night that if Alabama was playing the Taliban, he would wrap a towel around his head and cut his wife's hands off for knowing how to read.
