Take out possibly. Anyone think Missouri would have beaten Bama?

Meh...not sure we would have beat FSU that year.

2015, a loss to a good team early in the season and COULD bounce back and make a run.
if bama beats Georgia we are going to win out and make the playoff again.

the buzzards are circling. they are eagerly anticipating a fine fat carcass to tear apart and savor the flesh and blood.

imo, the potential feast is still alive and will resurrect itself and kick some arse. although I would be most happy if it actually died.

I would love to see Bama crumble but this is very premature at this point.

It does make you realize for all the “game manager” talk, Bama had good QB play the last several years. The way Bama recruits they will be loaded and ready to go next season; now if they finish right at or just barely above 0.5… and you see their recruiting class start to crumble then yes… you can bring the Rome analogy. I hope it happens but does not seem likely.

Hope I’m wrong but I think they win Saturday, but the point still applies even if they don't, unless they drop that game 77-0 or something like that. This is a very good UGA team, if Bama does not win they will be in a bad position to win the West this year, but still the program would be in good shape in the future I'm afraid.

wtf, I thought UGA was in the East? Are you saying UGA is tougher than the rest of your west opponents on your schedule? This can't be.

Pump the brakes. Ole Piss needed 5 turnovers to beat bama. Now if Bama loses to UGA and ATM then LSU, I would say they are in decline. Outside of that it is probably just a down year.

Means that we will find out more about our team this weekend. Hard to tell who they are at this point.

kiffin was a mistake
but that's about it

you are high if you think that a 1-3 loss season for them means anything more than a transitional slip

all it takes is an incoming freak or two to completely rebound, bama will always land players with that kind of potential as long as saban is there

wishful thinking for the op, just like our tDecline was wishful thinking by just about everybody

If you plan to get a piece of Bama you would be wise to do it this year.
Next year will be buisness as usual.

Yep, and 2010 we were crumbling too. Lost 3 games while preseason #1. How'd that work our for you haters? Back to back titles in 11/12...that's how. As long as Saban is at Bama and he is signing top 5 classes, Bama isn't going anywhere. We will be a tough out for anyone and will compete for a title shot more years than not.

People act like the last two years have been awful or something. Bama is 22-2 in the regular season the past two years with an SEC title and playoff appearance. Those would be the glory years for 99% of programs out there.

And BTW, if Bama goes into Athens and walks out with a W, things start to look a lot different even for this year, now don't they?

Auburn almost did. It would've been an amazing game though.

Kiffin was sort of a mistake due to a difference in philosophy. There is no way in hell we would have won the sec last year without him though.
