I attempted to take a picture of a 50+ yr old man crying hysterically and screaming profanities at the dirt after losing "The Game That Didn't Count"..his son (older than me) threatened my life if I didn't put my phone away

..wish I had the picture, but my memory shall suffice.

Bama Fan charged with attempted murder of SonLINK
A Pinson man was charged with attempted murder for holding a gun to his son's head and pulling the trigger in the midst of a tantrum after Alabama's double overtime loss to Arkansas Saturday.

The bullet narrowly missed 20-year-old Seth Logan, who said he picked the wrong time to ask his dad for a car, sheriff's spokesman Deputy Randy Christian said Monday.

Joseph Alan Logan, 46, surrendered to police Saturday and was charged with attempted murder and domestic violence. He was released from the Jefferson County jail Sunday on $7,500 bond.

"I know we take football serious in the South," Christian told The Birmingham News for a Tuesday story, "but that's crossing the line."

Please add the Bama fan who shot his son-in-law after an OT loss to Arky......

Edit: This event was pre-Saban. I believe it occured after the multiple OT loss in Shula's last year. I felt the same way fwiw.

I know it may be a stretch to list groups of fans but IMO these two incidents deserve consideration:

1. Cade Foster Death threats.

Yeah, it's twitter, but it received national attention. USA Today

2. Updyke Autograph seekers

I saw it with my own eyes and here is a story

Running list of embarrasing things Alabama fans have done

This is an irresponsible thread because you know the Internet does not have the available space to accommodate this thread. Shame on you.

I never can explain a grown man crying over a football game BUT if one of my family members were crying and you were recording it, I'd threaten your life too. That I can fully say, I agree with sentimentally at least.

Nothing good comes of recording people without their blessing
