I officially give up. People are going to believe what they want. Good luck with that.
You've officially beaten me. I no longer can keep up with the dumb.

ETA: #32 pages. Amazing.

This. These subset cult members are the Taliban equivalent in football fandom. Whether or not many Bama fans openly admit it or not, they must surely be embarrassed by the words & actions of such idiocy. I suspect some of those who are ashamed of them are fearful of being too vocal in their opposition lest they incur their wrath themselves.

That's absurd. Any person who would accept any negative feelings for the actions of strangers based on football fandom is foolish. Antithetically, if someone uses those actions to mollify any feelings of animosity or envy then that would be therapeutic and therefore not foolish.

4th*

And what does the outcome of the game have to do with the laundry list of crazies that support Alabama?

Because it will just increase the amount of of people scrounging around to try and make themselves feel better losing every year to Alabama. Thus, the increases amount of posts in this thread

I'd like to think my moral compass is high enough that posting about someone resorting to violence or sexual harassment over a football game is not needed to make me feel better.

"He's a winner, he just does what he wants to do," says Lee Allen, an Alabama fan from Decatur. "He's kind of like Hitler. He's a dictator. He brought us back to the top and I figure we're going to be here for a while. Money well spent."

Wait, what? Hitler? You mean that as a compliment? "Yeah," Allen says in between discreetly spitting tobacco juice into a water bottle in the lobby.

Bama fan idolizes Hitler and Saban, one in the same
