It wasn't supposed to be about the history. They wanted to do the past 2 years of college football domination. Back to back titles and heismans is what inspired the film, then the Harvey and tornado shite happened and they couldn't leave it out. My beef was with the weirdo arse piano player that was obviously from LA with that corndog eating smirk on his face. I bet his sister was under that piano brewing up some possum while she blew him.

It was alright. Way to much Updyke in it. I really think that guy poisoned the Toomers Trees to get his 15 minutes of fame. I did not know the history behind rolling the Toomer's Trees. I am glad the guy with the hair lip/speech impediment was able to tell the story.

I am a die hard LSU fan but was born and raised in Mobile Alabama and the level of craziness and hate between Bama and Auburn is very real and widespread in the state. Like the film said, you literally have to pick Bama or Auburn at birth basically. The film was spot on in regards to Bama and Auburn fans in the state.

I really did want to watch this. I DVR'ed it, but instead of watching what I'm sure was a wonderful program, I got some shite football game that nobody cares about. Sorry Barners and Gumps, I tried.
