I cheered for Florida in 2006 and 2008. I really didn't cheer either way in 2009, because I hate both schools, but it was good that Alabama won.
Four in a row pretty much established the SEC as the powerhouse that it is today. We'll get the benefit of the doubt for the years to come when it boils down to BCS placement and what not.
It's not like Alabama winning this year and making it 7 in a row is needed to prove conference supremacy.
Therefore, I hope they lose. May not be what's best for the conference, but it would be a small blip on the radar.
What's best for LSU is not Alabama winning national championships.

I had an LSU fan friend at the game Saturday who was actively cheering for Notre Dame (because he likes them), even though them losing would have been beneficial to LSU's national championship chances.
I don't get it.

I consider Alabama to be one of our rivals. Maybe that's because we don't have a real rival, so we just hate everyone. I don't know.

This is by far my favorite rivalry game now. Because these two are the two best teams in college football. I wish LSU hadn't of lost that Florida game so we could do this again in Jan.

I knew it would be a "Dog Fight".I knew LSU had just as many NFL-type players as Bama but was still a little shocked by all the different WRs that kept making plays for LSU(or at least it seemed that way to me).
