LSU doesn't need some brilliant schematic mind to run a defense. Hell, Chavis' defense is retardedly simple, almost frustratingly so.
We need someone who can recruit his arse off. You give me Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Matthieu, Brandon Taylor, Eric Reid, Montgomery/mingo, blockers/Logan, Kevin minter and I'll make a dominant defense. Pretty much the entire two deep from 2011 is cashing nfl checks right now. Chavis was responsible for assembling exactly 0% of that talent.
Zook can recruit. That is literally all we need IMO.
