Did Freeze promise him that he would start? Is he really their best option at DE?

Funny. EVERY publication I've read said he had a good night last night. Guess he's a bust because he didn't get 4 sacks and 3 forced fumbles his first game out.

He had a hell of a night for a kid that just left High School. Good th see Shack healthy. If OM establishes a running game they're gonna be tough. Other than that you guys dominated.
Holy shite at the Channing Ward hit.

My roommate, without missing a beat said "Channing Ward just killed a Vandy player."
Go shove a foot up OSU's arse tomorrow.

He hit him through his own blocker! Sawyer showed out in front of the young guys too.
OM showed more than enough ability to adjust, and that is key.
We need to now for sure.

well hahaha at you for assuming RN is better when you haven't seen chris play yet. You are doing the same thing those state fans are doing.

We don't know who is better yet. Robert had a solid game last night but still has a lot to learn. We don't know where Chris Jones is yet since we haven't seen him play.

Man. Everybody's butthurt up in this bitch. I love how LSU fans are trying to convince themselves that RN isn't a good football player.

Robert Nkemdiche - the Landmass at Ole Landmass. He's a baller.

Yeah, I wasn't very impressed with him. Not saying he wont be great, but NFL ready he is not. He showed up late to a lot of tackles. Never really really wrecked havoc at any point.
You do realize that it was the first time ever playing in college......right?
First time.

Robert Nkemdiche NFL ready now...
It's a shame a kid like this has to wait 3 years to turn pro. He can make an NFL roster now and get paid. Special...
He is a great talent, and physically imposing as a freshman, but he is not close to NFL ready. He has a long way to go in learning the techniques of his position and the game itself. He will learn that run defense is as important as rushing the passer. The announcer says he is playing end at 300lbs right now. With good coaching he could be a dominate DT, but if he's going to play end, he needs to drop some of that weight. Still explosive but could be much quicker with a decrease in weight.

Anyone who thinks RN isn't:
A) a freak of nature
B) insanely good for his age
C) poised to be one of the best D'lineman the SEC has ever had
is a Grade A nuttjob.
