In fairness to UTk you don't want the dumbest player on the team to be your QB.

This. If he's really dismissed due to grades, that tells me all I need to know about his work ethic.

of course not, but you solve that problem by not recruiting said idiot in the first place... butch compounded the problem by not signing a QB in the 2014 class... he knew someone was probably gonna leave (will probably be another when one of peterman/dobbs leaves).

UT's QB depth chart right now is the worst in the SEC, with the possible exceptions of UK and Vandy.

Overrated quarterback recruit that just so happens to be a headcase?

Have at it, Tennessee.

Well, it's official

Yup, they are.

The are replacing their entire offensive/defensive lines, have a terrible quarterback situation, and have a defense that is one of the worst in the entire country. Oh, and I can't fail to mention the shape their special teams is in...

Butch Jones might not last very long.

Everyone knows who left the roster a mess and Butch's stellar recruiting will buy him time for now.

Ferguson could not beat out Dobbs or Worley in the spring. Tells me all I need to know.

Riley never took a single snap. He's no better than Dobbs and Worley.

He was overhyped as hell. Couldn't get UT fans on other boards to stop talking about him taking over the job in the spring. Then the spring game happened and everybody saw different. Worley is your QB this year, Dobbs next year no matter what happened.

seriously, UT's QB situation just went from a little bit of smoke to a 5-alarm fire.

Correct me if I'm wrong:

- Whorley: SR
- Dobbs: SO
- Peterman: SO

That's a whole lotta pressure on three pretty crappy QBs.

I liked what I saw out of Dobbs even if it was against a stanky defense. Threw with a lot of velocity, and could run pretty well. Looked very accurate too. With North, Croom, Malone, Pearson, Howard, this year, and possibly Preston Williams next year, he will throw for a shite ton of yardage. That receiving core is ready to blow! If Butch decides to start Dobbs, he'll have a building year with the WRs this year, then a full year to put on a show with a slew of experienced receivers.

He was the pos that got mad because Bama didn't want him. Burn on him.
