He wasn't beat out by a freshman. He was listed as the #3 QB when he decided to transfer. Kessler, a senior, and Browne, a redshirt sophomore, were the 2 in front of him...

The best LSU QB of the last decade, and really the only good one, was kicked off his prior team for sexual battery and LSU fans want to talk ish about a freshman who transferred because the offense fits him better.

Isn't usc a pro style offense? He got beat out by a true freshman this summer so he left.

SC isn't Pro Style they are a hybrid. I am not sure what Sark is trying to run.

seems like anyone who's position is qb would be a hot prospect for lsu.

If he was choosing a school based on running away from competition then lsu would have had an advantage over everyone in the SEC for his services save maybe Vanderbilt.
Obviously that was not his primary criteria.

Nope, Sark wants dual threat at QB.

They're multiple. He's far more willing to adapt to talent than sticking to a system.

He wants dual threat at QB though. Hybrid is the same thing as multiple.
Which is why when he chose USC, even the USC insiders were a bit puzzled as Sark had made it known he wants more of a dual threat QB.
It's all in the articles today.

I'd much rather a guy who gets after it than just quits before ever trying

It's was never puzzling that Town went there. For the nearly 12 months Town was committed to Alabama, USC was always the threat.

Never would have started at LSU, so not sure how that's the case. We dont need anymore QBs.

USC247 and their insiders sure were puzzled.

Fail to see the humor...Browne was a composite 5-star at QB out of HS and he's been in the system for 2 years. Town may not have showed much by not staying to compete, but there's no shame in failing to unseat a 5th year senior and returning starter...nor losing the backup job to a former 5-star who knows the system. At the very least, looks like Arky picked up a quality recruit who could potentially start...
