I say Hell no. He needs to stay retired. That is all we need. Having to face our all time winningest coach twice a year and have to deal with all the bullshite that would go along with that? Not to mention he can recruit his arse off and probably has his jimmies ruffled and would kick our asses all over the court. He lost his fire and lost his team and lost his job because of one fat arse mother fricker and trying to make something out of that p.o.s. I hope he wouldn't take the job. That would suck for MSU in my opinion

five NCAAs in a row look pretty awesome to me now.

it was only 4 in a row

He didnt make the NCAA Tourney his 1st 3 seasons- had a good 4 years run...and then 2 NCAA's his last 7 years

Other than that 4 year run- which was helped tremendously because of the insane situation at Baylor where one player killed another- Stands tenure was very mediocre. Without the transfer of Roberts from Baylor, Stands would have been fired 5-6 years ago

Stans was the epitome of rolling the ball out on the floor.

I've been reading his posts here and it seems to be something personal. Stans wasn't THAT bad. Hell, he's not even AK bad.

With everything that's been posted good and bad here about Stan's, he'd still be the best coach at AU since Barkley in the last 30 years.

Not sure if you can actually make auburn's program worse.

I don't think it's possible.

It's personal toward the idiots that keep supporting him after it was so obvious that it was time to move on. Most fans really like Stans but had lost faith in his abilities.

It was time to move on.
