Who would you take?

I'd take Miles, yet LSU is willing to lose recruits, players, coaches, and any positivity they have from the media, just to MAYBE beat Saban in a few years. Hell, who knows, Nick may be retired by then anyway.

Oh, and Richt keeps his job.

Nobody will ever be able to recruit at a high level at LSU again. Nope.

At this point I'm not sure. Richt went out and made a bad hire at OC but a slam dunk with Pruitt. Miles suffocates his offenses and hired Kevin Steele.

If it was '05 give me Les, from 11/25/15 on I bet Richt has a better career.

I disagree, I think the following coaches have moved above both of them.

Urban Meyer
Nick Saban
Jim Harbaugh
Gary Patterson
Mark Dantonio
Jimbo Fisher
Bob Stoops
Art Briles
Dabo Swinney
Hugh Freeze

Hugh Freeze hasn't sniffed what either of these guys have done. Has he been to Atlanta? Won at least 10 games for multiple years in a row. These 2 are top 10 in the business and the stats don't lie

as what? A missionary? TV gamecall sidekick?

His best shot at winning anything big(again) is right now, at it doesn't look that good.

Miles vs richt went head to head in 2005, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2013.

We talking past or future. Because anyone can pick from the past. Deciding who to go forward with considering Miles recent decent makes it much tougher. Glad I don't have to decide that.

Both won SEC Championship against each other (Richt 2005, Miles 2011)

From 2005-2013
Richt- 3-2 vs Miles

Other than the 2007 BCSCG the resumes are very similar.

Both's decline started last season and I think if they went head to head Richt would win in 2014 and 2015 would be a tossup

Are we talking about historically or in today's world? Ole Miss would rape UGA sideways. They also beat the shite out of LSU. Not to mention their bringing in a stud QB.

Both of those coaches have great stats because of the school and talent they get. If you compare them to the schools they are in the same league as they look bad , richt really looks bad. I can see why Richt has lasted so long as UGA .

Tennessee fans talking about winning is laughable. 8-4 is a great year, meanwhile at other schools it is a guarantee firing of your coach.

As for the Florida fans saying they are at schools where you are guaranteed to win, well tell that to Zook and Muschamp at one of "those schools."

Last year UGA was the 2nd best team in the SEC and could have arguably had an opportunity to win it, had it not been for that POS Florida fan who ratted on Gurley.

This years UGA team is average. They have beaten the teams they are supposed to, and lost the games they are supposed to. The media overhyped us, Chubb got hurt, and our QB situation is a disaster. Yet we are about to be 9-3. Whereas most of you would love for your team to have that record.
