99% of all non-UGA posters do agree we will probably lose that one. But that wasn't my point, numbnuts.

There is a reason that whenever a "Most Consistently Overrated Team" thread gets started, UGA is always brought up the most.

So I guess anyone who beat bama in 2000 gets credit for a "good win" then huh?

I will take this as a "damn that Vol got me" post.

Too bad 2004 happened. Uga has an entire game they can show the team. Ironically, I think it actually helps that this game is at UT. It will help keep the focus. The biggest difference to me with this year is the great depth on ol and dl. It will certainly help tenn if gurley doesn't play but it is obvious that richt has plenty of confidence in Marshall, hicks, Douglas, and green to carry the load. Not to mention UT having to cover 3 or 4 Wr sets with a strong possibility of Marshall, lynch, and hicks also catching a pass out of the backfield is going to put a lot of strain on that secondary.

So? I don't care what the reasons are for your terrible football teams, they're still terrible.

i'm not arguing that were not bad, because we are

good, glad you can accept that

But, we were bad last year and it was a nailbiter

that's true, and may have SOME carryover into this matchup (which before now you have just posted meaningless drivel). HOWEVER, Bray and Patterson could keep you in any game last year. Your offense isn't half as good right now as it was 12 months ago. Your defense is bad (and we scored 51 last year).

We were bad the year before and you beat us by 8.

True again. Yet again you had a dynamic offense with Bray, Hunter, Rogers, etc. If Bray was on the team I would be giving UT far, far more of a chance, because even though he's a turd the guy was good when he wanted to be.

UT's offense doesn't scare anybody, even a little bit. We are going to score, and score a lot on everybody we play. If you can't score, why should I be worried?

Why, because you have no response to it?

What is the difference in what I jokingly said and you said for real? Both teams started ranked in the preseason, yet ended up being bad (and unranked). So why should UT be given some deal of credit and praise for winning against 09 UGA, but 9 other teams can't get the same for beating 00 bama?

Yeah so I get it, we lost some playmakers...Didn't you lose your whole defense?

It absolutely helps them, as our chances of winning go down from 99% to about 95%, however...

do we not remember the game Marshall had against UT last year?

You lost essentially everybody on the team that made people concerned to play UT. We return our entire offense, which is putting up record setting numbers.

No, we lost 6 starters. And UT might have the worse offense we've played to date, aside from NT. We gave up 7 points to NT on offense.

Do you not remember the completely reatrded decision to run a 3-4 last year with terrrible personell for the scheme? The general incompetemncy of the coaching staff? The reason why they're still not here?

We have taken enormous strides on defense this year

In Murray's career against UT, he averages 68% passing (52 for 76) and 260 ypg. He has 6 total TDs and 1 interception.

UT vs UGA you never know what you are going to get...:

2012 - UGA wins by 7
2011 - UGA wins by 8
2010 - UGA wins by 27
2009 - UT wins by 26
2008 - UGA wins by 12
2007 - UT wins by 21
2006 - UT wins by 18
2005 - UGA wins by 13
2004 - UT wins by 5
2003 - UGA wins by 27
2002 - UGA wins by 5

The spread is 11 points. Who thinks UGA will beat the spread?

Remember that richt is friends with Martinez and Jancek. If UGA is up comfortably in the second half, they will most likely try to run the game clock out rather that scoring points.

This is a perfect setup for a classic Richt letdown game. Say what you want about this team being different, but this is exactly the sort of game we drop one of every single year.

Doesn't mean we will lose, but it does mean that I am very glad that Richt is taking the approach this article says he is. Just hope all the players follow suit.
