I've seen people talk about how useless Denton is, but never paid much attention. Yesterday's "Bert made a point, it's your responsibilty to disprove it" stance was enough to ignore anything he says going forward for me.

Is a first year coach gonna beat one who has had a decade to get his program in place? Who knows. What I do know though, is 5-19 Chizik was able to take your "TE" and win a MNC in 2 years. And the OC who did it is now calling the shots...I'll take our chances.

You mean, Flarda's TE, and recruited by your recruiting coordinator for UGA in years past.

Like I said, we have Rodney to recruit defensive players. Dameyune Craig is our cleaner for who we want on offense. And he's even better than Garner.

Yeah, Rodney Garner was terrible for Georgia recruiting.

He only recruited scrubs like Rashaad Jones, Asher Allen, Knowshon Moreno, Akeem Dent, Cordy Glenn, Kwame Geathers, Brandon Smith, Alec Ogletree, and Damien Swann, among others. He was just terrible for that recruiting!

That's not really how it works usually. Assistant coaches often handle areas when recruiting, not specific position groups. Position coaches act as support if a great player at that position is not in their area. Craig recruits Mobile, both for offensive and defensive targets.

AU hired Rodney Garner to recruit Atlanta. He used to be the best in the business there but seemed to run out of juice the last few years. He's pretty much got his arse kicked in Atlanta the last few years, as our rivals have been so quick to point out. Maybe going back to his alma mater will rejuvenate him. Right now, UGA fans don't miss him because Bryan McClendon is kicking arse.

Edit: Just looked at Rodney Garner's profile on 247. He actually doesn't look like he's doing too hot on the trail LINK

Dameyune Craig, on the other hand, is killing it. Pretty much the lead recruiter on every top target except Roc Thomas. LINK

By that logic, Muschamp should be swinging from a tree in middle Flarda?

So did Gardner work for Richt or the other way around?

Of course it stops with the coach.
Florida blames everything on Meyer (not so much before he spent more time with his family for some reason).

Dont you know that EVERY coach sucks balls after he leaves your team?

Don't really feel too badly on the Can Newton miss as it became patently obvious he wouldn't have lasted the first year in Athens, when all the crap came out after the laptop affair. It would have been a wash either way.

You know, that whole "UGA can't keep talent in the state" thing, along with the whole "UGA's defensive line is wasted talent, can't do shite" thing.

I would not worry too much about this. UGA gets plenty of talent. The team has had more talent in the past 10 years than any other SEC team.

They just have not won shite with hit...
