Miles' natty trumps any of Richt's accomplishments. Richt hasn't even ever played for one.

Richt even had the better team that year. Miles is basically Hugh Freeze, but at a better program and with a more stable (until now) DC situation.

There are similarities, for example Richt has two conference trophies... Ferentz has two conference trophies. Richt does win MORE games vs better teams, even if he does play more good teams. Ferentz who is 1-8 verse tOSU, reminds me a lot of Pinkel, he beats the conferences sub .500 teams, ie the teams you should beat, he just doesn't beat the good teams very much.

the coach at iowa has to lead this list. and kevin sumlin is challenging big time. both are way overpaid more than richt. at least richt has won the SEC a coupla times and has appeared in the CG several others.

bull shite. y'all came on at the end of the year and you beat Hawaii in your bowl game. but go ahead and believe what you want to. it would have been nice to see a playoff at that time (of course you wouldn't have made it)

James Franklin, very high paid who hasn't really won much of anything, only 1 finish in the top half of the conference.

Also it should be noted that "the most overpaid coach in all of sports" has a winning head to head record against your coach.

Uga has 4 ooc games every year and plays vandy and uk every year. That's 6 AUTOMATIC wins. Bowl eligible right there. But this guy gets $4mil a year and has only won 2 sec titles in 15 years?

I know a troll when I see it, but this is just downright silly.

CMR has brought value into the program and the institution from any angle you would wish to analyze that's irrefutable.

But troll on little tigger troll on...

This really puts Les Miles into perspective, considering he couldn't beat Clemson.

UGA is 12-2 vs GT under Richt...

The rest of the SEC is 2-7 vs GT in the same time frame...

Richt is a great coach. He has UGA in the NC conversation every year. It is not his fault he has to face, at a minimum, OBC, Gary Pinkle(sp?), and then face Nick Saban before he can win any hardware.

It is hard to fire a coach without a losing season unless your fanbase is loaded with a bunch of arrogant, entitled "Affliction" t-shirt-wearing douchebags. Then, an 8-5 season warrants firing. You lurking gak drinkers know who you are.

Uga went 6-7 just 4 years ago. They have lost to boise st and wvu in the Ga dome. They have lost to Fla 22 out of the last 25 years. Richt nor Uga isn't ever in the "conversation"

NEVER in the conversation?

They are already in the conversation for 2015.

Odds of winning NC

Man. I just...I can't take these idiotic, uninformed, extreme corndog assertions anymore. I just...

wow, 9 games plus UGA every year? kudos to GTech for not backing away from the SEC, I know they've beaten Aubie a couple of times in that time frame but who else?

Les Miles is 2-3 vs. Mark Richt and was blown out in Death Valley by him.
