BC you can always go back and get your degree...playing another year is a huge risk of injury. Plus, i have never heard a rich person shrug at the possibility of getting much richer.

1. Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford — 32 (7)
2. Russell Wilson, QB, Wisconsin — 14 (2)
3. Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama — 12 (2)
4. Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor — 9 (2)

The only 2 of these guys who have played teams currently in the top 50 in total defense are Griffin (K-State @ #37) and Trent (PSU @ #6, UF @ #13, Kent State @ #23, and Vandy @ #26).

RGIII is, without a doubt, the best player in college football, IMO.

Haven't watch any Baylor games since the TCU game. Is he still lighting it up?

as far as I am concerned, he is a ridiculous talent who gets tremendous results on the football field. For being a great runner, is also an extremely accurate passer.

He definitely set the bar. Seems like you have to be on a championship caliber team now to win it though.

RGIII will win the Maxwell, Walter Camp and O'Brien.

His team probably won't win enough to win the Heisman.

Agreed, and that will hold him back. Him team will be horrible when he decides to declare for the draft...

The problem for Trent is that Luck was a name at the beginning of the season. Whereas Ingram did not have that same issue with Gerhart .
He did battle some with tebow and mccoy, but neither had spectacular senior seasons, nor, which is important here, were projected as top NFL draft picks.

Since luck is already considered the top pick on the draft, he has already secured at least half the votes needed from the voters.

Done deal.

And the pose came during play, not during some staged play acting.

Heisman used to be about best player - not best player on best team. For example: If Trent was hurt UA would still be undefeated and probably have similar rushing stats. I don't really know who the Heisman favorite is right now. Figure Russell Wilson and Luck have an advantage as QB and that RGIII guy was exciting to watch - but its a little early. They really need to have dominate performances in their biggest games and during their "off" games just put up good numbers. Also, if they dominate those games and lose it shouldn't put them out of the race - sometimes its not their fault some idiot fumbles or their D sux.
