Difference is better teams won't fail to get the ball in if they are moving the chains like that.

So we would win 38-24?

The defense played pretty well considering we were out all 3 starting linebackers. The offense is why the yardage stats on defense don't look good. We were dropping balls and going 3 and out all night.

Rice played that game like the loser program they are. Down 4 scores in the 3rd quarter and they are running dive plays and taking up the entire play clock. They didnt want to lose by 50 and they accomplished that goal. Kudos.

Dude their main goal was probably to avoid injury. Make the money, don't get anybody hurt. That's all the smaller schools want to do in these walk-through type games anymore.

Everyone TAMU plays is going to try to control clock to limit your offensive snaps. Get used to it.

I dont mind teams trying to control the clock. And if this same situation happens in SEC play I'll be ecstatic. I'll gladly be up big watching the OTHER team milk the clock to end the game.

If LSU were down by 4 TDs in the 3rd quarter would you want your offense taking its sweet time and running dive plays for 2-3 yards at a time?
