I think we might could've won a few more the year before and then retained chiz too. Glad it worked out this way.
I'm sure

That could be said about every SEC Champion the last 10 years.

That does not change the fact that every team won or lost a close game that could have been changed by only a few plays.

The overwhelming consensus of Auburn fans I have come in contact with think that next year they will just run through the SEC based off of last years performance. It will be interesting to see the reaction if they have a 9-3 or 8-4 season.

Was what you might call a miracle, i still watch it and want to scream at marshall for not throwing to the wide open coates at midfield.

just shortened the game so we didn't have to fool around with winning in overtime.

Find new people to come in contact with (that sounds like a personal problem).

Disapointment as we are returning a lot. What team's fans aren't when they start the season ranked in the top 10?

Sounds about right to me.

Can't wait to see how the offense evolves over the next few years. Especially since Gus has a bunch of pro-style QBs coming in behind Marshall.

LSU did.

A tipped long pass that was caught for a TD or a tipped pass for 5 yards that was caught for a season ending short gain...that the life sometimes.

Hey sometimes you win a game by sitting on the ball at the goalline and sometimes you win a game by catchin a ball in the 5th OT...it happens.

...does Lashlee call the plays or Gus?
They split-up the playbook. Rhett calls 2 plays, and Gus calls the other 2.

They each call one play per down...we run them both.

Well, he's not exactly wrong. AU could have very easily lost 2 more games than they did and not won the SEC

We were also about 20 seconds away from winning the National Championship..

A game that we "Should" have won

So it goes both ways

Kind of like a team getting two blocked field goals in one game. One would have won the game

I fully realize that. Keep in mind you wouldn't be in the national title, or have won the sec, or even won your division, if you didn't get ridiculously fortunate (notice I didn't say lucky) against bama and receive one of the most miraculous plays in series history against us.

That is true. On the other hand, Auburn could just as easily been NC's. That article was spot on. It's a fun style to watch. It's obviously very difficult to defend. It's here and SEC DC's are going to have to figure out a way to slow it down.

I heard all year that there was no way that one dimensional Auburn could stay with that vaunted bama run D. almsot 300 rushing yards later.....Mizzou's rush D is the second best in the SEC. 545 rushing yards later.......FSU definitely has the best D Auburn has faced. They also have a month to prepare for Auburn. 449 yards of O later........(the D is what cost Auburn the NC, not the O.)

I don't care if this is my inner butthurt coming out but goddamn.

Auburn is so fricking lucky all the time. But when their luck runs out it's hilarious to watch

See Jameis Winston's post game speech.
