Multiple championships. QB is their only real weak spot

I agree 100%

It's scary to think about LSU having anything other than mediocrity at QB...

Probably old news, but the first time I've heard it.

Not old news at all. So did Andrew Luck, Russell Wilson and Matt Barkley.
Honest. I heard that.
That's the problem with the LSU coaches. They don't recruit worth a shite which is why they are winless this year.
The only guys they seem to get that are really good are the kickers. Who can win with recruiting kickers?

Barkley has home videos of him saying he wanted to be a USC QB when he grew up and throw touchdowns for them. Now I know you're full of shite.

Pretty sure that was all tongue in cheek.

You don't believe those doctored vids do you? Damn but you are stoooopt.
It's a well known fact that Farve, Bradshaw, Montana, Rogers, Brady and Ryan all wanted to go to LSU but were turned down. It's a fact. A friend tweeted that to me and I believe my friends. And I posted it here so you gotta believe me.

RGIII did want to go to UT. He had UT number 1 and took an official visit to Knoxville.

Fulmer offered him as a WR but he wanted to play QB. So he went to Baylor where he had a QB offer.

I take it you think that tweet is bs? You follow LSU recruiting right? Did RG want to go to LSU?

Of course not. I believe any tweet I get because nobody would tweet anything unless it was pure Gospel.

Indeed he did. The tweet I got said that he begged Miles to let him at least walk on. He offered to be the ball boy, the towel boy or the guy that runs on the field after kick offs. But Miles said, "Noooooooooooo".
Now would my tweet buddy make that up? I don't think so.
I just didn't think anybody would be interested in that information, so I didn't post it. I see now that I made a mistake because posting tweets is really awesome. I could have had started a cool thread like you did. But I missed out.
Kudos to you.

Our touchdown to interception ratio is a little better than mediocre. Every team would be better in the SEC if RG3 was on their team, but he's not.

Yes and so did Darron Thomas. Both were offered as athletes, but both wanted to play QB. Thomas committed to LSU, but when Oregon told him that he could play QB he de-committed and committed up there.

Nobody wanted RGIII as a QB except Bryles. Dale Denton is correct in his post. Hardly anyone wanted DT as a QB either. Chip Kelly did and so he went to Oregon.

With Gary Crowton as OC and QB coach from 2007-10, neither would have developed at LSU anyway. LSU doesn't have that problem anymore and that's why Kiel committed.

Exactly, Crowton would have ruined him.

I bet half of the FBS wanted to go to LSU/Bama/Texas/USC/osu etc. etc.

Dude was going to HOUSTON before Bryles get the Baylor job.

Everyone wanted him for cb/wr.

If RGIII would have come to LSU, there is a good chance we would have won a national championship, or at least an SEC championship, over the past few years. It's amazing we've done as well as we have with such awful QB play. Probably would have helped a bit with recruiting too.
