Chad Kelley can testify to Foster's credentials.

He hit him in the shoulder :) He wasn't defenseless, but he was certainly offenseless. But they may go back and take a look at it.

That ones looks close, but the one on Hurts that wasn't called wasn't even close. CK was a runner and not a defenseless player on that play. And I made the gif in slow motion. Here is the Hurts one.
Neither was called that game. They are both close, Fosters at full speed, and I can understand how it could be missed. The Hurts one, the Ole Miss player did wrap up a little. I guess they weren't calling it that game.

Here is one of Butkus's hits

If you watch the video, he gets a few teammates with friendly fire.

Yeah, I saw that. Great video. My old man used to talk about his hits. He was a monster and he should have an award named after him and Foster deserves it.

Foster gets the job done, but damn that's some bad form tackling

If that is what you are taking away from Foster's and Butkus's film, then you might be missing the point.

Reuben's high school film was up there in the Noel Devine, Reggie Bush, Leonard Fournette, Julio Jones realm of "wtf did I just watch?"
He is a special football player. I liken it to a great artist...yes they get better with practice, but they had "it" to begin with. He has the ability to be an all time great in this game. After two years, I admittedly had chalked him up as a guy that wouldn't live up to the hype. I have never been happier to be wrong. He could be the best in a ridiculous group of middle linebackers under Nick Saban. Rolando McClain, CJ Mosley, Don't Hightower, Reggie Ragland...those are some outstanding football players. Reuben might be the best of the bunch.
his high school tape for lolz
that's his junior film for the record

Some guys just have a knack for squaring up and exploding through the tackle. Ronnie Lott was another one that maximized the force at impact.
