rethinking our season

Yesterday was an emotional roller coaster for us.
1. Hooray!!!! Nobody can take sumlin from us.
2. We gonna smoke Mizzou.
3. Wtf!!!!! Sumlin punts........
After stepping away from it all, until now. I realize this was a great season for us Ags.
Throw the record out. It doesn't matter.
Our worst loss was to a top 15 program. The next three are to top 5 teams. The rankings are a touch subjective. Thus, they are an inexact science. But a science none the less. In science we have to toss out the outliers. In this case it would be lowest ranked LSU and highest ranked AU. That leaves us with a 7 point loss to Missouri and a 6 point loss to Bama. Based on those results, we could be as good as the #6 team in the nation.

I like the spirit of this thread. throw out our losses, and we're on our way to the seccg! He'll, we even beat auburn.

Very serious. Even if you don't toss out our outliers, we are a top 16 team.......
Furthermore, if we really want to get scientific, average ranking of all teams that beat us (including outliers) is 6.5 in the nation. You could say at worst we are the #7 team in the country at best #5. I'll take that. Sumlin is doing great things in college station.
