The worst LSU play ever was on defense, the 97 yard pass play by Florida last year which changed the complexion of that game completely and gave Florida a lead they wouldn't surrender. The Tiger defense just quit on the play

4th and goal from the 15 against UGA in 2002. UGA lobs a fade up with our db in perfect position and he steps on his shoelaces and doesn't get off the ground and gets Mossed. Cost us SECCG.
Also 2002, tied in the swamp with 3 seconds on the clock and a straight on 19 yard field goal to win. Blocked. Sexy Rexy wins it for UF in IT.
Also 2002. Tied with USC late and pull the goal line throwback to TE play to take lead. Anthony Mix wide open by ten yards and drops the ball. Carson Palmer leads next drive to end game with game winning TD.
2002 went 9-4 with 3 top 10 wins and 3 top 10 losses all in brutal ways. Should have easily been 11-2 Or 12-1.

God I love the late 90s early 2000s shadowed numbers. Not saying I'd want them in jerseys now but I appreciate how they're a dead give away of a certain era of college football.

Brandon Harris spazzing and throwing the damn ball right to a wisconsin player to end the game when we could have kicked a game winning field goal. All he had to do was throw the ball out of bounds...or just not throw it directly to the wisconsin defender. He wasn't even under too much pressure at the time he threw it, he had already eluded it.

Hard for me to pick just one of the travesties that made up the Swindle in the Swamp. Angriest I've ever been after a game.

This is what I call the 09 florida v arkansas game. Probably the most pissed I've ever been.
Also the "fumble" called for broderic green in the 2010 auburn game when he was stretching out for the 1st down. Everyone knows the ground can't cause a fumble.

Hurts' TD run vs LSU in'16, escorted by 3 holds - one of which was a neck whiplash tackle on the LSU lineman that people could see from the upper deck, but the fuking GD ref standing RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE PLAY - IGNORED.
This. And the Jordan Jefferson pitch to the Gumps in the NC game

I can think of a few, but probably the heave and pray by Manziel. I think it was 2012? Anyway, I thought we had him and next thing I know his WR has the ball 30 something yards down field.
May not have cost us a title, but cost us a perfect season.
As much as I hated K6, it felt - to me - more like a quicker end. AU had us on the ropes in the second half, and I didn't give us much of a shot in OT if I'm being honest with myself. I honestly felt we should have won the 2010 game more so than the 2013 one.

Marquez North making the luckiest catch of his life against us in 2013
Time has lessened the wound, but at the time I was livid. Close second is cocky block.

In retrospect Hunter Renfoe making that tackle on our fumble recovery probably cost us a Natty

In 2003, the Obomanu drop in the endzone against Ole Miss.
In 2013 against ForcedSexU, the simple 5 yard hitch that went for 50 because of Ryan Smith's dumb arse. Or the two easy touchdown passes that Nick Marshall couldn't make. Or the fake punt that got them back in the game, when everyone could see it coming. Basically, frick that game.
Last year when Kam Martin dropped a wheel route TD pass in the UGA game. He was so wide open. We score, it was over. But I was disgusted that entire game, that Gus would play a QB that clearly needed shoulder surgery. Hell, JF3 could've ran the read option that entire game without throwing a pass and we still win.

The correct answer is the 4th and forever conversion that Tennessee pulled off in OT against us in '03.
