Who is the last Arkansas 5 star LSU went after ? I think it was Winston or Dyer, and Dyer we didn't really recruit that hard. We leave that to those in Alabama that don't know any better.
I honestly don't know, but I don't recall LSU ever recruiting Arkansas hard. I just looked up the last Arkansas players LSU signed and they were Brett Helms and Matt Stoltz in 2004.
Tennessee used to steal some of our recruits and now it's the Alabama schools. Mississippi's grabbed a lot of leftovers, but few that we really wanted.

Population shift has decimated Arkansas' delta recruiting base.
When you move up to NWA you got it good and you get soft and start loving nature and hiking and go to Crystal Bridges and eat fast food all the time.

Good Luck Altee
You had a shot, you chose Bama, you didn't win a NC at Bama, Saban processed you. Your not welcome back in Arkansas..

Bear Bryant is the only name I can think of. Who else?

Remember that time that Gus took a true freshman at Arkansas when he was the OC and made Arkansas a competitive team with Dmac running the ball and the Arky fan base sucked him off? And then he left to AU to be an O coordinator and stole the best running back out of the state and win a Natty?
And then Gus became the head coach at AU and went to a Natty, remember? And now the whole state of Arkansas is bitter.

I couldn't remember so I looked at 247 and they had him as a 5*
247 didn't exist as a evaluation service when DMAC was a prospect.....they retroactively rated college players in recruiting cycles that took place before their existence based on what those prospects actually did in college. Used the old Hindsight system. Why 247 chose to rate prospects for classes prior to their existence, I have no idea.
But yeah, 247 rated DMAC a 5*......Rivals did rate McFadden a 5* ATH. Scout had him a 4* RB.
As for Tenpenny, looks like in the end he weren't worth a dime....

Sorta. But the way I remember it is that Arkansas had 3 future NFL RB's, including the 2-time Heisman runner-up, a future NFL WR and a 5* QB, to go along with a pretty good defense. There was a guy named Gus on our staff, but he left for Tulsa.
I don't recall the State of Arkansas ever being bitter, but what year was it when that stolen RB graduated from Auburn?

Dyer didn't graduate (to answer your question). He came from Arkansas, remember? He just had to much Arky in'em.

Ah the always humorous make fun of another state/school's educational quality while spelling things incorrectly yourself.

Please reply what was incorrect.

And if you are referring to "to" in the post, that is obviously not a spelling error but a grammatical error. As such, please note the change. If not, enjoy shop classes and make my order of fries a large please sir.

Yeah, because athletes that never graduate college aren't a success.

Yea, you're right. I'm sure he was close to graduating when he left Auburn.
Also, the only thing stolen with Dyer was the stuff taken with his gun.

i don't remember the last Arkansas player that went to bama that actually worked out. Frazier might but jury is still out. I remember 10-12 years ago bama got a few kids from white hall whose names i can't remember and they sucked it up at bama. Auburn's fared better but not by much
the school that really kicked our arse historically taking our recruits is Tennessee. They came here and took some absolute studs.
The only RB that i can remember tat left Arkansas and went out of state and made it to the league was D'Angelo Williams and he went to memphis
