If you can get past the LSU aspect of this and listen to this man's message and not walk away feeling a sense of pride for these men, well, let the trash talk flow through you.

Only if you listen to some Saban speeches first.

Nobody has done anything but praise the guys who showed up for that azz kicking. Now, the reason for the season, that's a little different.

Brad Davis sucked at Arkansas. He had the 13th worst rush offense this year at LSU.

Dude sucks. If he’s such a great speaker, go enter politics. Coaching ain’t it.

I would watch that, but I can't hear over all the LSU bitching about the Gator Bowl.

Pretty clear what the reason was. We let a college football program get out of control. Now we have to sift through the wreckage and try to get back on track.

At UF, Davis had the best introduction press conference ever. Only here a few months before a certain HC had relations with a shark.

Yep, it's a mess. Brian Kelly better want this job badly.

This romanticized “Charge of the Light Brigade” BS is hysterical when you find out LSU had 13 players academically ineligible

Y’all want everyone to grease your nuts and tell you how great LSU is but I refuse.

LSU should have promoted Head Coach Brad Davis to permanent Head Coach. Good man

I don't think that's quite the condemnation you think it is. LSU was bad at almost everything this year. It's telling to me that Brian Kelly fired everyone except Brad Davis.

He understands organizational structure and dynamics in collegiate athletics. That is encouraging to me. He knows how to build a competitive program. The challenge is doing it within the context of Louisiana culture and expectations.

Sometimes we are our own worst enemies.

And he understands the leadership LSU has now. Tate and Woodward might not be the best in the SEC, but they are light years better than the leadership LSU is used to having.

And the football culture is something fierce down here. The mismanagement of southern culture would constitute strike two in a hurry.

Though we all have common aspects in our shared southern heritage, I will be the first to admit that Louisiana culture is uniquely challenging. He has his hands full.

Are we still going with the "one of us" crap?

If LSU can play for 6 SEC titles and 4 national titles while going from Saban to Miles to Orgeron, Kelly can get to the 7th SEC title game and 5th national title game.

He's just coming here with more winning experience than the last 3 guys.

If you are truly using this year as an example, you’re out of your mind. He came to lsu 30 minutes before the season started.

Arkansas will lose to lsu 4 out of the next 5 years.

I am a proud native of Baton Rouge. I was a child during the time Edwin Edwards was governor. I know Louisiana culture and politics well.

We can win. But we are our own worst enemies.
