LSU was turning into that clingy girl that wanted to take it to the next level, when all you ever wanted to do was have a steady piece of arse on the side.

In short, AU quit calling or coming around. :rivalry denied:

The clouds of finishing tied with A&M are gathering over Baton Rouge. The LSU loyalists are starting to get a little nervous, apparently.

It's been a long time but yeah I'm old enough to remember.

Pat Dye, Terry Bowden and Tommy Tuberville all fielded AU. teams that were physical and nasty.
The LSU/AU. battles were easily some of the most violent and physical games in the SEC when these guys were coaching at Au.

I don't see Au. being competitive against LSU as long as they have a coach that wants to play a game that is based on trying to run the HUNH offense. Au. can't sneak up on LSU and hope to catch LSU sleeping on them like Arky and OM do every year.

I'll just note this for later.

Whatever helps you sleep at night. Until someone can stop this offense from gaining 500 ypg, it ain't happening.

And bad news, this year's offense has significantly more talent, especially at the skill positions.

No one wants to be in a shoot out with this team.

aslong as we control the clock with our running game we won't get in a shoot out

2013- LSU -35 Au-21
Au total yards - 437

2014 BCSNCG- Fla. St.-34 Au-31
Au total yards - 449
You might remember this was the game that Au squandered away the BCSNC Title streak.

You'll get better at this message board thing over time.

Auburn will be LSU's toughest road game and maybe toughest overall.
Past records and stats don't mean much - it's what have you done lately. They were scary the second half of last year......
