Yes. Hung out in the cold rain all day just to watch a 9-0 football game to drop bama to 3-8 on the year. seems like a lifetime ago

Yes. My sister and grandfather left at halftime to go get hot chocolate back at the Ferg.

I sat in the Auburn student section in 2009. There were a ton of Florida fans there right after the game. So. Many. Gator. Chomps.

Old Timers' thread.
auburn fans posting pics of great defenses, and Bama fans posting game winning field goals.

I did the same thing. I was at UA and a good friend was going to Auburn and got me a student tocket so I set with all of them
Only thing any of them could say afterwards was how the shut down HWMI

The great white hope........ I remember the announcers repeatedly talking about how he was good at snowboarding so that helped his balance.

1987 - the 1st Iron Bowl I ever attended

I've been to 2 iron bowls on UGA bye weeks, both were fairly enjoyable I suppose. I was also standing next to the guy in 2006 who threw a water bottle from the bama student section and hit a player (david irons maybe?) in the eye. He was never caught.

Holy crap, we had this Auburn guy and his kid sitting in front of us (actually they had a pair of lost tickets from the folks in front of us, their season tickets were lost in the summer and every big game we had folks show up with real tickets to sit there) and every big run the guy would turn around and explain to us why Tre Smith was such a good back due to his snowboarding.
I really wanted to throw his arse off the top of the endzone. But I was 16 and my dad was with me and also I weighed 130 lbs.

Jesus Christ, I forgot how fricking weird DuBose looked. He always had midget arms and a fat gut that just made him look, awkward...

Best part about all these pictures? Both of our uniforms look identical to the ones worn in pretty much every decade.

That was the first year that Auburn came to Tuscaloosa. I told my Auburn buddys that came up here that it was just so ugly because we didn't really want them here. Hey I was nice though, I transported them from their RV to the stadium and back so they wouldn't have a long walk in the cold, even after they beat us. I love them, we just don't agree about our football teams.
