Wait doesn't he play outside linebacker for the chiefs?

So you are comparing stats of a player who doesn't regularly have to take on blockers to someone who faces up to 2 blockers and possibly a chipping RB on every play?

This is such an wannabe aubbie fap thread.

How about an complete comparison eh?
2016 stats to date
DF: tackles 22 ast 10 sacks 10 stuffs 2 FF 1 pass def 2
JC: tackles 34 ast 7 sacks 3 stuffs 9 FF 0 pass def 1

career stats to date
DF: tackles total 62 sacks 15.5 FF 1 pass def 5
JC: tackles total 88 sacks 7.5 FF 1 pass def 7

This is with JC playing 13 less regular season games and 2 less playoff games.

This horrible attempt at a troll is bad and you should feel bad.

^this.

aubie fans are still mad about all that shite Ford talked before the combine and then pussying out at the NFL Combine drills/tests.

Funny how the only time people talk about Dee Ford is when he's mentioned along with Clowney. Some people are stars, some people just circle around them.

Texans are 5th in total defense without Watt. Clowney has been the best defensive player that they have.

KC is 27th with Houston and Ford.

It's not all about sacks.

Everyone likes to talk bad about Clowney except his teammates, coaches, and the people playing against him.

I can't believe the Texans got conned into drafting him #1 overall based on one huge fricking play

It was more about thinking he had all this raw ability they could mold. He just hasnt been the player they thought he was

If anyone, the Texans are the wrong team to rely on for trying to make something out of raw physical ability

We Chief fans were shocked at his success.

It should be noted Ford was getting sacks with literally NOTHING on the other side for offenses to worry about (due to injuries) The pass rush was just Dee Ford by himself.

Ford>Clowney

You're comparing two defenses from one player on each team? That's retarded. Really.

Yeah! Retarded! Only sacks matter, not how the unit performs!

I guess this is as good a thread as any to throw in this:

Did I just see that Mark Ingram was named Offensive POTW? First Saint since Reggie Bush?

Sorry....carry on.

Vince Wilfork a week or two ago:

The third-year end's output has been so impressive that fellow Texans defensive tackle Vince Wilfork went as far to say that Clowney is Houston's best defensive player "even when we have J.J. Watt."

I'll take his opinion over some Aubie douche

The unit performs as a whole. It doesn't perform as one player on it performs. There are 11 players on the field.

If the unit performed based on one player, Denver's defense wouldn't have sucked balls while Champ Bailey was there.

When the owner of the team is a Gamecock, there was no doubt in my mind who was going to be selected first that year.

Clowney was projected #1 by almost any and all publications/talking heads. Don't act like you knew that Houston would pick him #1.

Clowney was a multi-year All SEC/All American.
