Why make it "just another game" when you have a relevant historic moment there allowing yourself to make something more out of it and get a nice marketing kick for doing so? Apparently those in charge at A&M loved the idea... And the idea is going viral as we speak, bringing in alot of attention to a game from people that would otherwise not notice it...
43-41 is never, ever a "meh" game...especially not in a driving snowstorm in Shreveport...

That was one of the most memorable bowl games of the last 20 years. Yea, it was only because of the freak snow storm but so what? It was fun as hell to watch.

Again. Marketing. The players love the uniforms. It sells more merchandise and puts an added spark on the Egg Bowl. I guess the Black Bears drab gray uniforms are glorious rigt. They are fugly and who wants to buy a replica of one of those? Oh and win the Egg and this may stop. Til then keep kissing our asses.
