Ball was close enough to be called a ball or strike. Scivicque framed it well. Aggie didn't defend the plate. It was not "3 inches off the plate." You have the luxury of replay. Ump (that's what they are called), does not. If you want to blame someone, blame the batter not protecting.

Literally every poster on this site knows that was a ball. It fricking happens dude..it was going on all night. The situation is irrelevant.

You HAVE to protect right there and not put the decision on the umpire.

Agree 100% with Adam.

What I wanna know is why ags aren't asking why their 3rd baseman didn't lay out to try and at least knock the ball down? You gotta do everything you can to keep the ball in the infield there.

Bull shite. That pitch from a left hander was a good bit off. We were set up down the middle and he moved his mitt a good foot to get it.

I'm all Tigers all the time, but that was ball 4.

On the other hand, sttdbitchez from aTm.....always our little ho

I agree it should have been a ball. But it was not 3 inches off the plate like the OP stated. Scivicque framed it well.

It was close enough the batter should have swung.

That's what kills me. If you're the ump and you know he just loaded the bases how are you not thinking that pitch got completely away from him. If he calls ball 4, I bet every LSU fan is thinking just that.

He was out when he tried to sell the walk. If he would have stayed in the box LIKE ALL BATTERS ARE TOLD ON A 3-2 COUNT WITH BASES JUICED AND A TIE BALL GAME IN THE 8TH ON A CLOSE PITCH he may have gotten the call.

I guess this is what it feels like to be a Bama fan during football season.

Definitely was.

Disagree. With empty bases you protect the plate, but with bases loaded, taking a ball on the exact same location as the ball before is the aggressive, and right, play. You are free to disagree, though. That's just my opinion.

That mindset at the plate will lose games in the 9th way more than it will win them.

Situationally. If Texas A&M is down 3-2 still. Bases loaded. 2 Outs, on a 3-2 count. Does the batter take that pitch, or protect the plate?

He would protect it. Why should it be any different tied?

Just because you make a thread that makes it seem as if you're butthurt about LSU, doesn't mean we all don't know you're a shitty LSU alter. You are a terrible, terrible poster. Nothing you say is original, witty or worthwhile. Here's a list of things I would rather do than ever meet you IRL:

-Listen to each and every Kardashian tell me what their social political views are.

-Set up a blind date for my sister with Jameis Winston.

-Watch the second round of the WNBA Draft on repeat for a week.

-Throw myself in front of a bus and get reincarnated as one of Mike Vick's dogs.

-Let Mark Philippoussis serve a tennis ball into my nutsack at point-blank range.

The ump had been inconsistent with his strike zone all night. As a batter in the ninth inning, you already know this so not protecting the plate in that instance is a very poor decision. The batter didn't want to make a play, and the ump wouldn't bail him out. That's baseball.

Regardless, continue on with your melt because I have a question. Was this loss as bad as 1989? You seem really upset.

Isn't the OP the same guy that thinks Aggie has better DBs than LSU? obviously LSU was offsides, Aggie shoulda won.,,,womp, womp, womp. Once again, poor Ôle LSU beats the GOAT Aggie team.

He's definitely not an LSU alter. He's obviously an alter of a popular aggy poster. Its like clear cut obvious. I've tied him to Hugh imo.
